Starting March 4, from 6 to 7 PM, at Saint Mary Magdalene Parish Hall, the Parish Social Ministry, with the Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes, will be offering the Just Neighbors curriculum. Just Neighbors has seven segments, which will be offered on the first Wednesday every month: they are designed to deepen our understanding of the Christian mission to serve our neighbor. The curriculum is built upon the principles of Catholic Social Teaching. Each of the seven segments addresses the core themes: dignity of the human person, community and the common good, human rights and responsibilities, preferential option for the poor, the dignity of work, solidarity, and the care of God’s creation. The first segment will be on, “Who is my Neighbor?,” which will pr ovide an oppor tunity for us to see the human faces of people whose welfare is not always considered when social, societal, and governmental decisions are made.

Do it for the least; do it for Jesus.
