The Finance Council

In addition to providing spiritual care, the parish must look into attending to its temporal goods. The responsibility is entrusted to the pastor, with the parish finance council as a consultative body. To the council is entrusted the responsibility of helping the pastor plan, review and approve the budget and finance statements, care for the buildings and grounds, and promote stewardship in the parish. Members often have some background in finances, banking, business, investments or law. The council meets at least four times a year. For more information, please contact Doug Jablonski @ (315) 594-6962.
