A basic moral test is how our most vulnerable members are faring. In a society marred by deepening divisions between rich and poor, our tradition recalls the story of the Last Judgment (Mt 25:31-46) and instructs us to put the needs of the poor and vulnerable first.

Operation Rice Bowl in the Parish
This Lent, the parish promotes the Operation Rice Bowl, as one way of concretizing the practice of Alms-giving. From the First Sunday of Lent, rice bowls will be available at the back of the churches. Please consider taking one during the campaign, and let the fruits of your fasting make a difference in the life of others. Recipient of your donations will be men and women who are suffering from poverty and  hunger, in Tanzania, Nicaragua, Niger, Lebanon, Congo and the United States.
